And we’ve gathered some of our favorite events coming to town so you can revel in the excitement and your brand new home at Northlake all at once.
Downtown Sacramento Ice Rink | November 11 – January 16
Plan frozen fun with your friends at the outdoor holiday ice rink at Ali Youssefi Square. Be sure to get bundled up in your winter best to enjoy this skating experience under the stars.
Holiday Tree Lighting Ceremony | November 24
It goes without saying that good things come in trees—and you can kick off the holiday season in style with the annual lighting ceremony for the holiday tree at the Old Sacramento Waterfront.
Theatre of Lights | November 24 – December 19
See the Old Sacramento Waterfront come to life with twinkling lights, a live dramatization of ’Twas the Night Before Christmas and a special guest appearance from Jack Frost himself.
Holiday Weekends at the Wineries | November 26 – December 19
Home to 15 wineries, Old Sugar Mill is hosting a month-long seasonal celebration every weekend with holiday shopping, live music, food trucks and outdoor wine tasting until December 19.
The Polar Express Train Ride | December 1 – 9
All aboard! Take a magical themed ride to the North Pole starting at the California State Railroad Museum with hot chocolate, sweet treats and a small gift from Santa for each passenger.
Holly Jolly Christmas Bar | December 4
Celebrate the season at Sacramento’s pop-up Christmas bar with life-sized toy soldiers, tinsel and stockings, jolly bartenders in festive attire and a holiday soundtrack spinning all night long.
Holiday in the Park | December 9
Take in the Christmas magic at Arden Park as Santa lights up their 17-foot tree and community center followed by live music, hot chocolate, kids’ crafts and photo-ops.
Winter Wonderland | December 11 – 19
Get into the holiday season at Fairytale Town with holiday lights, snow, festive crafts and more. You’ll get to visit Santa in his workshop, enjoy Victorian carolers and make s’mores around the fire pit.
Ugly Sweater Pub Crawl | December 18
Wear your ugliest holiday sweater with all the bells and whistles and spread holiday cheer across the pub scene in Sacramento with drink and food specials, contests, games, giveaways and so much more.
A Roaring 20s New Year’s Eve | December 31
Ring in the new year flapper-style at Archer Hotel Napa with an open bar, delicious food, casino games, live music, VIP experiences and a Charleston-ready dance floor.
